SFL Held the First Semester Foreign Teachers’ Work Meeting for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

At 4:00 p.m. on September 11, 2024, our school held the first semester foreign teachers’ work meeting for the 2024-2025 academic year in Meeting Room 716. The meeting aimed to strengthen the management and communication of the foreign teaching staff and further promote the development of international education. The Secretary of the school’s Party Committee Zhao Zhihou, Dean Cao Ruonan, department heads, and all foreign teachers from the English, Japanese, and Russian departments attended the meeting.

The meeting was chaired by Dean Cao Ruonan. First, Secretary Zhao Zhihou extended a warm welcome to the foreign teachers and highly commended their hard work and significant achievements over the past year. He emphasized that the school would continue to focus on building the foreign teaching team and required all foreign teachers to strictly adhere to teaching discipline and ethical standards. He also expressed hope that the foreign teachers would further integrate into the school in areas such as teaching, research, and student development, contributing to the enhancement of the school’s international education standards.

Following this, Dean Cao Ruonan provided a detailed outline of the work for the new semester. She introduced the teaching arrangements for the term and emphasized the important role foreign teachers play in both the teaching process and ideological education. Dean Cao also put forward several specific requirements, including strengthening communication and cooperation with the school’s faculty, paying attention to student feedback, and actively participating in various academic activities organized by the school.

During the meeting, department heads engaged in in-depth discussions with foreign teachers regarding their respective department work plans. The foreign teachers expressed their willingness to fully leverage their professional expertise, actively cooperate with the school’s teaching reforms and development, and provide high-quality educational services for students.
