A few days ago, the sixth national CASIO translation competition (English and German) presented awards in Shanghai studios. The vice chairman of literary federation Chi Zhigang, the chief editor of Shanghai Translation Publishing House Shi Lingkong, the vice president of Casio Shanghai trade Co. LTD JITIAN Xiuzuo, and the judges were at the present. In this competition, over 1000 translation articles have been received from many famous universities like Fudan University and other people in the society. Our school won the excellent organization prize and An Hui was invited to attend the award ceremony on behalf our school.
This competition began in the middle of June and aimed to promote the development of translation in our country and discover and train the translation talents. In order to train the students’ basic skills in translation and improve the students' language application ability, our school organized over 300 students form four grades to attend this competition and 287 manuscripts were selected to compete in this match.
