On September.12th, our school held a meeting to learn the advanced deeds of Hou Boyu and improve teaching quality. The secretaries of the Party branch and the Dean of departments attended the meeting.
Dong Guoqiang introduced the plans of the Propaganda Department of the Central Committee and Shaanxi Provincial Party Committee of the learning of advanced deeds Hou Boyu and also conveyed the spirit of the university meeting. Then, all the meeting members watched the “advanced deeds of Comrade Hou Boyu "on CCTV. The patriotic, dedication to the scientific and hard work touched everyone. Meeting members have a discussion on “arrangements of learning from Hou Boyu” in-depth. Our school called on the
teachers and students learn from him based on their dedication. The Dean of departments and secretaries of the Party branchs would carry out the learning activities actively.
At the meeting, President Cui Yaping, vice presidents of Zhu Yiping convey the spirit “the year of teaching quality”. The faculties leaned the teaching plans and requirements. Everyone agreed that undergraduate teaching is the most basic part of teaching task. The foreign language teaching as the core of the undergraduate teaching has a great impact on teaching quality. It is vital to pay close attention to the order of teaching, persist in reform and innovation, improve the quality of teaching effectively and work hard to create a good atmosphere for teaching.
